Is Poco X6 Neo the Next Big Thing in India?

Poco, a Xiaomi sub-brand, recently teased the launch of the Poco X6 Neo in India through a social media post. While the exact name and launch date were not confirmed, speculations suggest that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro that made its debut in China last year. The new smartphone is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC.

Poco Takes a Dig at Realme

In a sarcastic tweet, Poco India head Himanshu Tandon criticized Realme for launching the Realme 12 5G with an LCD panel and a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor at a price below Rs. 17,000. Tandon pointed out that the Poco M65 5G offers the same chipset at a much lower price and hinted at waiting for the new Neo phone from Poco.

Gadgets 360 recently shared some exclusive details about the Poco X6 Neo, suggesting that it may come in an orange color option with dual rear cameras, similar to the design of the Redmi Note 13R Pro. The expected price of the Poco X6 Neo is under Rs. 16,000, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.

If the Poco X6 Neo is indeed a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it is likely to share similar specifications. The Redmi Note 13R Pro features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The phone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel shooter, along with a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Overall, the upcoming Poco X6 Neo seems to be a promising addition to the Poco lineup in India. With its rumored MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, attractive design, and competitive pricing, it could potentially give other budget smartphones a run for their money. As Poco continues to tease the launch of the Poco X6 Neo, consumers eagerly await more information about this highly anticipated device.
