The initial rollout of the service is happening in Denver, Colorado; Sacramento, California; and Columbus, Ohio, and Amazon is eagerly waiting for feedback from customers who take advantage of this offer.
Amazon is betting that its Prime members will be willing to pay an additional monthly charge for the convenience of having fresh food delivered to their doorstep without any pesky delivery fees. The Prime subscription is already a popular choice among customers, offering free and speedy shipping as well as access to video streaming.
