Joanna’s life is a chaotic mess. She can’t seem to regain her identity, as her old job and friends have moved on without her. To make matters worse, her husband believes he is a better mother than she is. With severe sleep deprivation and the constant feeling of incompetence, Joanna struggles to connect with her baby, who won’t even look at her.
In her desperate search for companionship, Joanna unexpectedly forms a bond with her estranged aunt-in-law. This unlikely friendship provides both of them with a much-needed lifeline.
