The Nothing Phone 2a made its debut in India in March of this year, bringing with it a host of upgrades from its predecessor, the Nothing Phone 1. Not only did it feature improvements over the Phone 1, but it also underwent a significant design overhaul compared to both the Phone 1 and Phone 2.
Recently, Nothing India has hinted at the launch of a new India-special edition of the Phone 2a. While details about this edition remain scarce, leaks suggest that it may introduce a fresh colour option to the lineup. The official unveiling of this special edition is scheduled to take place on April 29 at 12pm IST.
Speculations are rife about what the new edition of the Nothing Phone 2a might entail. Tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) hints at the possibility of a yellow colour variant, drawing comparisons to the Nothing Ear A, which also sports a yellow hue. On the other hand, Technerd (@Technerd_9) suggests that the phone could be launched in a striking blue colour option.
It is important to note that the special Nothing Phone 2a edition differs from the Phone 2a Community Edition Project that was announced earlier. The latter is slated for release in the latter half of the year and will feature a distinct Hardware Design, showcasing green-tinted phosphorescent material finishes.
At present, the Nothing Phone 2a is available in India in Black and White colour variants. It comes in three configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB, priced at Rs. 23,999, Rs. 25,999, and Rs. 27,999 respectively.
